Cottage 17 - Donnelly River

Donnelly River is a timber mill town preserved in its entirety and is the ideal destination to simply get away from it all.

Apart from relaxation, other things to do include the BBQ, swimming, canoeing, fishing, viewing wildlife, bushwalking and touring the mill.

While the facilities have been upgraded to incorporate hot water service & electric cookers, the dwellings remain largely unchanged with the wood stove still in the kitchen and the log fire in the lounge. Cutlery, crockery & utensils are provided.

The general store operates 7 days a week offering a range of services including breakfast and snack foods.

You need to bring sheets, blankets, pillow slips and towels. A hire service for bedding is available from the store, with prior booking requested so that it can be delivered to your cottage. (Nights are generally cooler than Perth and extra blankets are recommended)

The animals and birds come close to the cottages without the restraint of fences or cages.

Your holiday can be active or passive, in the village or getting out, according to your whim of the day.

There are conventional towns (Manjimup, Nannup and Bridgetown) all within a 15 minute drive.
